Say 'hello' to Room 9

In term one Room Nine has enjoyed getting to know each other and our teachers at school. We have been learning our daily routine. We have also been practising our alphabet and learning our numbers. This term we enjoyed art and made little fantails to display in our classroom.

In Room 8 we have enjoyed playing in our new playhouse and sandpit. We have also enjoyed starting the day with morning fitness and running along our windy path on the school field.

Day 3 with our Tamariki under alert level 2

We have been celebrating all that is precious about returning to school together. 

We have even spotted precious art, writing and learning that is adorning our classroom walls as a warm welcome home so everyone can feel the aroha in our school at this time. 

It has been an absolute joy to see the children smile as they walk pass the new displays of learning.

Even more precious today has been the engaging learning in our classes, fale, construction room and outdoor spaces with more children returning to school today. 

We are looking forward to welcoming the rest of our whanau back to Yendarra soon.
